HP Mini 311 esteemed in Europe

HP Mini 311 esteemed in Europe

HP has not officially announced, the HP Mini 311 at. But a flood of information about the upcoming 11.6 inches notebook with NVIDIA graphics ION has been spilled over the last few days. And now it looks like a pre-production model makes the rounds. Netbook News.it has posted some hands-on photos and a little information about the performance of the laptop.

The notebook has a 11.6 inches, 1366 x 768 pixel display, 1GB of RAM and a 160 GB hard drive. It sports a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU and NVIDIA GPU-ION, which means they should be capable of 1080p HD video from the hard drive handle, although it is likely with high-quality Flash video battle, as the Adobe Flash is based on the CPU not the GPU.

After News.it Netbook, the HP Mini 311 (or more properly, the Compaq Mini 311c, is named as the European model), significantly better than the Samsung N510 in 3dMark2006 benchmarks. This could be because the HP has more laptop dedicated video memory, but since it is a pre-production unit I, all test results with a grain of salt or two.

HP Mini 5101 Business Netbook

HP Mini 5101 business netbook

One of our favorite all-ime Netbook, the HP Mini 2140, a brushed-metal system from HP’s business line is a cousin that focuses on the consumer mini-1000. Interestingly, it is one of your favorites, also known as Mini 2140 is the fourth most viewed laptop.

The new and quite different, 5101 Mini-trades the silver metal-look, with a slight curve on the lid, for a squared-off design in black brushed aluminum. HP Ted Clark, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Notebook Global Business Unit, calls it “truly a work of art, a demanding PC companion crafted for the trend-savvy mobile professional needs, the functional, durability and style.” We are not sure we would go so far, but it is a pretty smooth looking Netbook.

We are always happy to HP mini 2140 for its solid construction and high-end extras, such as an ExpressCard slot. The new version loses the ExpressCard, but adds a standard hard drive 7200 RPM and an optional higher resolution 1366 x768 screen. An optional integrated Gobi powered HP Mobile Broadband Module will also be offered, along with some proprietary software for the organization to synchronize files between desktop PCs and portable Netbook (and HP has promised us that it is better than the corrupted version the same software found in the last HP Netbook Mini 110).

The other thing we are a little concerned about is changes to the mini-keyboard – one of our most popular features. The broad, flat, closely spaced buttons have been optimized to look and feel a bit more like the keys on a MacBook or Sony Vaio laptop, with a good amount of space between them. We need to play around with the system a bit longer to decide whether we like the new layout better. A positive development – the touchpad mouse buttons were in a traditional spot under the touchpad, rather than on both sides.

The HP Mini 5101 is expected to be available in late July.

The Mini-110 comes with a Linux operating system copied Wed or mobile Internet experience. We recommend the use of additional resources and is associated with the XP version. Both versions will be from 10 June. Mini 110 buyers will receive a new application called Syncables, which allows users to synchronize with their primary mini computer. Dell Mini 10 gets TV

Dell Mini 10 gets TV

That is what everyone has been waiting for, not the Dell Mini 10 Although it is a large machine is the equipment that we are interested in this time and in particular to the soon to be released digital TV tuner, which is a great idea for users who love the TV.

The TV tuner looks to see some pictures of good quality, although it must be noted that this enhancement is not responsible for the Dell Mini 10V. We do not know for what reasons as before, but it is probably the most environmentally friendly type of computer.

Verizon to Launch HP Mini 1000 Netbook, MiFi 3G Router

Verizon to Launch HP Mini 1000 Netbook, MiFi 3G Router

Things begin to act like Verizon is to embrace mobile computing in a big way. We have already heard, they will be launching the MiFi personal 3G cloud device on May 17, word and begins to lick that she is also the first time a subsidized HP Mini 1000 Netbook. This makes sense on many levels, and I believe that such an undertaking will be successful for Verizon.

The MiFi 3G router is a potential game-changer in my eyes, it is the mobile broadband services, and converts it into simple, one-button Wi-Fi, which works everywhere, as far as customers are concerned. This has the potential to make 3G the whole process so simple that it removes the intimidation that many consumers with mobile broadband services. It would also be a perfect fit with a Netbook like the HP Mini 1000, perhaps they will offer a kind of bundle is?
