Even better than I had hoped

As a longtime PC user, I'd missed a Mac for a good while. The last time I bought a Lap-Top I came very close, but went with HP laptop burst at the last minute of frugality. This economy was only of short duration, which do not on HP's third birthday, and again I was lusting for a Macbook. This time I went for it. I only had the computer for a few days, so probably not a genius insights and many of my initial observations have been said already, but I will proceed anyway. First, and most obvious, straight out of the box It's ... pretty. I mean, this is a serious damn good looking piece of technology - not clunky here.
Okay, as others have said, straight out of the box, it was easy to set up and worked like a charm. Because I have no Mac experience I thought I would on the phone with Apple Care be pretty fast, but the only help I needed was from my Internet Service Provider in order to remind me what's my password wireless. After that I was good to go. Shocking! Not one other error. As far as learning curve of Windows on Mac, it's pretty good. Key board shortcuts are very intuitive - instead of command control, Finder instead of "My Computer" (I think that's right). The screen and backlight are amazing.
BTW: I had to call Apple Support and they have very helpful and reasonably pleasant. So far, I have spoken to no one in Asia.
The only negative I noticed is that there are a lot of real estate between the edge of the computer and the keyboard. I'm sure there are some ergonomic plus to this, but for me it is just annoying. Of course, I can only typing a lower surface (dining table is supposed to eat, who? Knew) The cost of the computer I would like a mouse had been included, even a cheap USB to be connected. However, Best Buy opened at nine, and the Magic Mouse was on sale, so not so bad.
