Sony refreshes Vaio T series with CULV processors
After a short, the Vaio T, Sony has taken away the thin and light notebook PC into Japanese web page of the company again. But the consumer models now with Intel Ultra Low Voltage (Culv) processors, including SU2300 Celeron 1.2 GHz, 1.4 GHz Core 2 Duo SU9400 and 1.6 GHz Core 2 Duo 9600 options. All three chips use the same Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics.
The notebooks come with up to 8 GB of RAM available, and with hard drives up to 500GB SSDs up to 512GB. You can also pretty much every Windows version 7
Do In other words, despite the CULV processors, the new Sony VAIO T models do not come cheap. They are clearly not designed to compete with the budget thin and light models from Asus, Acer, Lenovo and other companies. In fact the cheapest model is the equivalent of about $ 1400
But you get some premium options, you will not find on cheaper notebooks. So Sony offers batteries that are good for 11 to 17 hours. The laptops are optical disk drives, including optional Blu-Ray drives. And there is also an optional TV tuner and a fingerprint scanner options.
