Mobinnova Beam smartbook debuts with Tegra power

SmartBooks promises affordable devices that will cost $ 200 or so and offers smartphone-like performance with a larger screen. Some of the devices contact with prices more like high-end netbooks, if you do not opt for a 3G plan with them.

Mobinnova announced SmartBook specified width. The device features an ARM Cortex-A9 processor, NVIDIA Tegra for graphics and a 8.9-inch screen. The screen resolution is 1024 x 600 and the machine has 512 MB of RAM. It also sports 512 MB of NAND for the Android operating system and is based on a SSD from 8 to 64 GB capacity.

An SD card slot for more storage space available and it has for the integrated 3G connectivity to AT & T’s 3G network. Other features include WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, USB ports, HDMI output and 1080p, enjoy the ability of the Tegra. Pricing and availability are unknown.
