Gateway pulls the cover off EC14D ultraportable with DVD drive
When it comes to the lightest, smallest and most portable notebook, but often lack optical drives. This is not a problem for some users, but those who often can not access the data from a CD or DVD lead to big problems.
Gateway has a new notebook at CES, the small and packed presented in a DVD drive. The machine is called the Gateway EC14D07u and features a 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 LED-backlit screen. The machine features an Intel Pentium ULV SU4100 processor at 1.3 GHz.
Other features include a 320GB HDD, 4GB RAM, Windows 7 Home Premium, 8X DVD burner, and 802.11 draft-n WLAN. Power comes from a 6-cell Li-Ion battery and the device weighs 3.55 kilograms. The notebook will ship this month.gateway, gateway
