The first Eee PCs from ASUS to have the NVIDIA-ion platform, include the 1201N, now available for pre-order at online retailers Amazon. The 12.1-inch Netbook sports a dual-core, 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor and has 2GB of RAM. Through the ion the netbook platform can play HD videos.

The 250 GB hard drive will be loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium, and buyers are 500GB of web-based storage solutions from ASUS. The netbook has Bluetooth support, Wi-Fi module and a 0.3-megapixel webcam. The device comes with a casing and weighs a light 3.21lbs.

As previously reported, the Eee PC 1201N price at $ 500 and is on 15 January boat.
