HF SSB Transceivers Codan NGT Series Networks
A network is a group of stations share channel, calling system and other features. And each channel is designated, and each network also called, for example CODAN Net.
Different networks can call on different systems. For example, a network of CODAN NGTS ALE/CALM may be required to use, but if you use older model HF SSB transceiver, you will probably CODAN Selcall call these stations. With networks, you can decide if you want to “scan” or “not check” want. When ’scan’ is elected, then all channels in the network will be automatically scanned. If you receive or calls, they want this network calling system and channels. To communicate in the NGT, the network is the gateway.
Previously, up to 10 channels can be at any time to be scanned. The HF SSB Transceivers Codan NGT Series can be used for 10 networks, each with a different reputation system (eg SELCALL, peace, etc.) programmed. Channels can be repeated in each network. Each network is labeled with its own name and to any network you can create a distinctive self-address, a personal name, affixed with compounds that will be sent to that network.
Each mobile and fixed station in a network must be given to self-ID. The ID is like a phone number. The ID can be either numerically, alphabetically or a combination. At another station wants to communicate with you, that’s the number or names they will use. There is no need for a self-pinned lead IDs or lists of such information is this established in your address book list by the person managing your network.
