Acer and ASUS To Suspend New Netbook Releases Until 2010

According to Digitimes, the two companies to delay production until the new Intel Netbook Pine Trail-M platform comes in 1st Quarter 2010.
Intel’s Pine train platform, with the new Atom N450, was to come before next year, but was recently postponed. Acer and ASUS have just followed. Acer also has the demand is too small for his dual boot Android XP Netbook idea and the production on that as well. However, ASUS is still a debut Android based Netbook sometime in October.
Both companies plan to continue new ultra-thin and light notebooks by the rest of the year.
