Dell introduces a new 12-inch notebook in Japan today. The vostro 1220 is supported by Dell Small Business in Japan for 79,980 yen including tax. That is about $ 838 U.S.. But remember, computers tend to cost more in Japan.

The Dell vostro 1220 has a 12.1 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display and an Intel Centrino 2 CPU and GM45 chipset. The notebook weighs 3.4 kg, making it difficult for a Netbook, but for a light laptop. And with the CPU, the size, weight, price, and I do not think that this notebook is really on your Netbook traditional buyers.

The laptop comes with a choice of a 160GB 5400rpm hard drive or 250GB 320GB, 7200 rpm hard drive. 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. cell battery options available, and Dell, says the 6 cell battery, up to 9 hours of runtime.
