Gateway has a number of laptops to win on his hands last year with his MC, MD, UC-series and the latest crop of notebooks looking at the ante even more. We take a look at some brand new laptops from Gateway at the Acer stand at Computex this and were very impressed with the stunning designs.

We were on the gateway ID58 like a bee on a puddle of honey. The 15.6-inch laptop with the help of Italian design firm Pininfarina car. The exterior is a cover coated in a glossy black and the edges of the notebooks are equipped with a silver trim. The silver is below the lid on the curved speaker grille that lines the top of the keyboard. The EC38-packed display on an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 500 GB hard drive and Nvidia graphics G105M required.

In addition to the ID58 was the EX38 with a smaller 13.3-inch display, but a similarly attractive design. Apparently, it was modeled after a butterfly, and with the system closed, the Acer representtve told us it was to see how a woman’s lips. We did not exactly see, but it is a nice idea. The EC38 is an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, but is promising an impressive gateway through eight hours of battery life.
