Verizon netbook to arrive in stores this weekend

In a statement released Thursday, Verizon confirmed that it will start selling a Netbook computer from Hewlett-Packard on Sunday. Subscription pricing will remain the same, but additional downloads, the authorization for the lower monthly plans.

The Netbook HP Mini 1151NR, a 10.1-inch display as well as access to Verizon 3G network. It runs on Windows XP and 1 GB of RAM, an 80 GB hard drive, 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 802.11b g and 2 USB ports. An SD card slot is also available on the Verizon Netbook.

Overdosage Plan fees were reduced user data with a 5-cent fee for each megabyte over the limit instead of the original cost of 25 cents. If the data plans seem steep for you, you have another option: one-day mobile broadband. During a 24-hour period, the user will have full access to the Internet via their mobile device.
