New announcements of netbooks may tend to be very boring. Most of them hold pretty much the same form factor and specifications, but with slightly different designs and logos on the lid suggested. If OCZ announced their Neutrino netbook it seemed like just another Netbook with nothing special. OCZ turns out, is actually trying something a bit different.

OCZ is usually known for the creation of memory and other PC components, non-current machinery. To proceed with this, the neutrino is considered part of the Do-It-Yourself program. Anyone can be the most barebones of the Netbook, including everything except the RAM, hard disk, card reader and installed OS. The idea is, the buyer will be able to find the best prices on the aspects of the Netbook, and adapt them to their wants needs. The obvious market is for the hardcore technicians who are already their own machines, but OCZ is the packaging with full instructions so someone should be able to view the Netbook itself.

The idea for the construction of hardware usually results in some higher end, but ultimately cheaper desktop machines. The bones of the neutrino with the rest of the parts which can also be purchased, resulting in lower prices than most Netbooks.
